An experimental AI piloting MJLONIR armor at the orders of ONI as part of PROJECT OPEN CASKET.

Haloverse Synopsis

Before the Fall of Reach, Catherine Halsey had an understudy, who had the name of Claire Calcifer. Following in the footsteps of the creator of the Spartans, Calcifer created her own, experimental AI by the name of Shaetima. In order to combat the onslaught of Rampancy, Calcifer placed data caches across the galaxy that are all linked. Shaetima can access these caches to dump and download information.Shaetima would go on to assist the UNSC in tactical operations across the galaxy until the events that lead up to Halo 4, where she was selected to participate in ONI's PROJECT OPEN CASKET. A project that sought to cut the costs needed to obtain and train human Spartans by allowing AI to pilot the MJOLNIR armor itself.After being selected as the sole candidate, Shaetima operates as a Spartan in the field, often being assigned to stealth operations. While her effectiveness in a field environment is undeniable, there are others who think that AI are unfit to serve in combat like this.

> As an AI, Shaetima runs the risk of Rampancy. In order to combat this, Claire created data banks for Shaetima to store information in, pushing back the onslaught of Rampancy.> As long as Shaetima is within the known universe, she can access and store/retrieve information in these data banks.> When she doesn't know something right away, if it's within her data banks, she'll take a second or two to "remember" what it is she's being asked.> Shaetima's armor is hollow to allow any Spartan to enter should their own be unavailable for whatever reason.> With experimental nanotechnology, the armor will mold itself over the human occupant to become a comfortable fit.> When a human begins to pilot the armor, the armor will transfer control from Shaetima to that pilot. She can only receive control back once the Spartan within falls unconscious in combat or if they leave the armor.> Inside of her armor, Shaetima can interface with computers in order to interact with them, just as she would be able to were she plugged into said computer via AI chip.
